BACK TO SCHOOL Parcel ; DONATION DURING COVID-19

Zambia like any other African country has been adversely affected by the covid-19 pandemic. The pandemic has not only disturbed the running of our healthcare system but has also affected the country’s social-economic status and education system. Individuals have lost jobs whereas others have found it difficult to get employed since the emergence of covid-19. Most families have been left helpless without knowing how they’ll send their children back to school due to lack of finance.

It is for this reason that PFI saw the need to contribute towards the sending of our children back to school through the donation of ‘back-to-school’ parcels comprising of learning books & reading cards for primary school children, and exercise books/pencils for grade one pupils at Lwimbo Primary School in Kasama District.

The PFI team was represented by Luse. The packs are said to serve as a starting point for the children going back to school whilst waiting for their parents to prepare themselves for other school necessities that may be required during the course of the term.
